Indiana's Future. Our Focus.

​Lilly Endowment created the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program for the 1998-1999 school year and has supported the program every year since with tuition grants totaling in excess of $439 million. More than 5,000 Indiana students have received the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship since the program's inception. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is administered locally by community foundations, and statewide by the Independent Colleges of Indiana.

Inspired by scholar-led efforts that began in 2006, Lilly Scholars Network (LSN) is powered by Indiana Humanities and generously support by Lilly Endowment, Inc.

The LSN mission is to:

• Engage Lilly Endowment Community Scholars in topics and with people focused on advancing Indiana’s future.
• Inspire and equip Lilly Endowment Community Scholars to be active changemakers in their communities.
• Cultivate meaningful connections.
